The Mona Lisa Scott-Lee
(Acrylic gouache on canvas)
This is undoubtedly one of my best works and definitely the greatest painting of the 21st Century. Make no bones about it; this is a huge cultural moment, a seismic shift in what we know to be true about art.
To celebrate her arrival and the arrival of Joe Lycett’s Art Hole, The Mona Lisa Scott-Lee will tour galleries around the UK, starting with the National Portrait Gallery in London on 26th September 2024. Full dates below.
The painting was famously stolen by ITV’s political editor Robert Peston, and stashed at Canada House in London before being retrieved by Paul Chuckle on 26th September.
